Looking for emergency alert device for elderly - real simple

Long story short: We have an elderly family member who lives by herself and is in declining health. We want something to make it super easy for her to contact us in case of an emergency (something other than a phone).
Ideally, just something like a device we can put on her bedside table. If she mashes a button, it either calls or texts us. (Just like one of those Amazon "dash" buttons.)
Not looking for any type of monitoring service. Just something simple and easy. We've thought about putting a Google mini in different rooms, so she could simply tell it to call us. But if she's unable to speak (or speak clearly), that wouldn't work.
Any ideas?

It will dial up to 5 phone numbers, then can dial 911 if none of those answer. They talk through the pendant. It don't require any service fee.

Good advice, but in the case of my parents, they don't trust echos or google home or any of that.I tried to get them one at Christmas and they refused.
