If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Say if you got the bonus a few years ago and canceled the card, can you get a Sapphire card again via product change? Then you can wait a few more years and reapply for the Sapphire card to re-get the bonus?

Since product change doesn't count as an application, the application 48 months only count from the last time you applied correct?

1) yes you can product change to it at any time adn then re-apply for it when you have crossed 48 months since receiving bonus on that specific card you are applying for

Anyone know if you get the bonus going Preferred to Reserve? Looking to upgrade and assumed I'd get the bonus

No you won't get the bonus if you have already received it and you can only upgrade after one year.

Edit: I don't know how long you have had the card but other comments say you can product change, others say you cannot.

You can try calling 800-432-3117 and asking them to match the offer. DPs have shown it is not likely going to be a success but report back if it is!

Are you sure you have to wait 48 months after cancelling the card and not 48 months from when the bonus was earned? On the Southwest cards I cancelled the cards 48 months after earning the bonus and reapplied only a month after cancellation and was able to earn the bonus again.

Edit:. Sorry, Southwest is 24 months as others have corrected below.

You are correct. It is 48 months since you earned the bonus.

Do the Southwest RR cards also have the 48 month stipulation?
Quote from kobedaman24 :
Yes. They do
No, they don't. The Southwest card has the traditional 24 month rule. What did change last year is that all of the personal Southwest cards are considered to be the same 'card family' in the same way that all of the Sapphire's are.

Google search credit card points guy. He reviews and ranks the current best offers out there
Keep in mind that TPG is notorious in the credit card rewards hobby for pushing subpar signup bonus offers - as long as those offers are the ones that give him (really, the company that bought him out) the largest kickback. It is a resource, but take it with a huge grain of salt.

Can someone explain the chase reserve 300 credit back for travel? Please explain it. How does that work? The annual fee of 450 is quiet high.
