If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Can I transfer points from Freedom to this card? If so will my points have that extra 25% benefit when redeemed for travel?

That's NYC to Europe which is one of the shortest and cheapest destination to Europe from the US. if you're flying from anywhere else in the US, it will be much more expensive.
"from anywhere else" ??

Not really.
For example, just checked ORD to Rome : $1028 nonstop on Alitalia.
Only $3 more than I mentioned in my earlier post from NYC.

If I got the new card member bonus 6 years ago and I cancel the Sapphire card now (i downgraded to the free version), do you think I can sign up for the CSP and still get the bonus?

**EDIT**
NVM, I found the answer on post 327.

when you open a CSP/CSR card via referral link, do you also get the referral bonus or only the person referring you? Also if i had a sapphire card that is 6 years old and downgrade to freedom unlimited, will it reset the credit card age of the card? Will I be entitled to get the current 3% promo on the freedom unlimited as well?

When you downgrade a chase card like that the # usually stays the same so the age of the account stays the same too on your history.

You generally don't get any signup bonus/offer on a card you downgrade too though.

The clock starts at your last paid bonus (not when you applied). Just check your past statements.

Your app will be rejected if it's been <48 months since your last Sapphire (any Sapphire card) signup bonus. You will also be rejected if you currently (currently=last 30 days) hold any Sapphire card.

For the 48 months, check your old statements. Alternatively, you can check your credit report for the card opening date and add 4 months for the bonus timing.

You would need to call after approval to have the card expedited.
