If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

I have this card currently from last year. Because of a few more travels, I would benefit a bit more from the reserve. Its over a year now since I have the preferred. If I wanted to upgrade to the reserve, will chase do a hard pull? ( I know I wont get the reserve bonus which is fine) Im currently at 5/24.

I don't even think you can get the reserve if it hasn't been 2 years since you got the preferred.

Interesting. I will have to look into that. When I first applied, I asked about upgrading and they said I could but who knows what new policy is in effect.
Just received my card. Now how do I make use of all the referral code and all?

Cool, so I can pay an overdraft fee to my bank instead if I'm not expecting the withdraw.
Yea, I'll just not do business with them. How much money do you think they heist pulling this maneuver every year? I have plenty of credit cards and never had any other company do this.
Why not just balance your accounts and pay your bill each month. It's not that hard.
Just checked a mid-July to early August RT of NYC-Rome.
United Airlines $816
Air France $836 (nonstop)
Alitalia $592
Delta $713
and so on.
Nonstop:
United $905
Lufthansa $905
Alitalia $1025
and so on
That's NYC to Europe which is one of the shortest and cheapest destination to Europe from the US. if you're flying from anywhere else in the US, it will be much more expensive.
I asked this question before opening this CC. I remember when I open my Sapphire past year under my name and added AU, i got 5k extra point. Now i open 1 under my wife and added myself as AU but no 5k pts so far

The bonus for adding an AU has been dead for several months.

You can't get a reserve as a new card in that situation- you should be able to product change into one after the first year though.
