If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

I have a Sapphire Platinum, received my bonus more than 48m ago and called Chase, asking if I terminated my card and sign up in a couple months, can I benefit the sign up offer. The CSR from Chase said no, the Sapphire offer is only once in a lifetime offer. Can anyone confirm this?
I can confirm that the rep you spoke with is full of shit. You don't even need to cancel your existing Sapphire Preferred, simply change it to a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited, then wait a few weeks (or less).
Anyone had luck asking chase to waive annual fee for second year recently?? I called them two times but no luck, but I know some Peple got lucky before

If you are lucky, you might be offered a $60 credit towards the AF, but no one gets full waivers for this card.
Can anyone refer me for the 50K points with AF waived for first year? I prefer not to pay AF.
There is no option available to waive AF now even for first year... but you get 100$ worth more points after spend for 95$ AF.. which is still a profit
Yes, this is assuming they have not had the card before. Still though, the AMEX Plat 100k is too good to pass up.
If you have a spouse/SO, have them open it up till you are 48 months in. The simple answer to your question is yes. Even though when you signed up the bonus eligibility requirements were different, you are still subject to the new rulings. How do I know this? If you read the terms of the CSR / CSP application, it clearly states that you can not have earned the bonus for this same card in the last 48mos.
I have applied for the card using the link provided by op but other than the confirmation email from chase about the application, there is no sign of card approval or any communications from chase. Do I need to call them or go to branch to apply for it?

Call this # 1-800-432-3117 and they will review the application and proceed with the next step.. this happens with most of the chase cards..

You can.. provided you don't have any other sapphire card bonus in the last 48 months and have an active sapphire card..
I do have an active regular Sapphire card on my account actually.
Yes you can, I just got it, had the card before and canceled in 2014.
