If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

If I add my kid as an authorized user, does it build up his credit with either of these chase cards? CSP has no fee for AU
Same question for me.
The Authorised user signup page online says they do report to credit agency. But the signup page does not ask for authorised user social securoty number which leads me to believe they might not.
Will points be carry forward to next year or be forever in account to redeem or there is any expiry period to redeem earned points? Appreciate if anybody provide this info.

Simple enough to try, and see in a month or so if it shows up on their credit report?
//edit: from the fine prints of the sign up page itself -- "We provide account information to the credit reporting agencies for all account users. This information could impact an authorized user's credit score. "
When they first offered the Chase Sapphire Reserve, wasn't the "Sign up/spend $4k" points offered like 125,000 or 150,00?
I have close to 300k points now and remember a huge points offered when they debuted the card.

I got approved for $5000 and spending $4000 is not not the best idea just to get that reward
Yes, spending $4,000 to get 60k point is absolutely worth it, AS LONG as you were intending to spend that $4,000 anyways. If you're having trouble spending $4,000, then this credit card is not for you.
What do you intend to do with your credit card? You'll still have to pay the annual fee.
