If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.

Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc

After some more comparisons with Capital One Venture and BOA Premium Travel, I think I will apply the BOA card instead (per my Platinum Honors relationship).
I have had the AAdvantage Platinum Select card but I just found out losing all the travel benefits and AA fares from Boston to the cities I fly to are always higher and I have been flying JetBlue and Delta more often. United is the best choice flying out of Boston but I consciously avoid it...
How long they take to make a decision normally ?
