If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull
Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Anyone we can call on the 48-month rule before applying? Difficult to discern. I emailed CPC rep but not very helpful. Kinda feel like 1st tier rep going to be same.
You can do a product change from the CSP to the CSR, but I believe you have to have held the CSP for at least a year before you can make the change.
After some more comparisons with Capital One Venture and BOA Premium Travel, I think I will apply the BOA card instead (per my Platinum Honors relationship).
I have had the AAdvantage Platinum Select card but I just found out losing all the travel benefits and AA fares from Boston to the cities I fly to are always higher and I have been flying JetBlue and Delta more often. United is the best choice flying out of Boston but I consciously avoid it...
Just finished spending $4k but it says the point won't be available until the next statement. Is there any way to get the points available before then? Looking to book a flight ASAP.

if all transactions are posted to meet 4k then call them and change the statement date (pre-pone) until you can wait... - remember ask for the statement date at-least after 3-4 business days from the date you met $4k.

Yes United is one of the (many) airlines you can transfer UR points to 1:1
I am about to open a CSR card. Any benefit to get a referral from you?
Can I get CSP today (get the bonus) and upgrade over to CSR in a 3-6 months (without any bonus)?
