Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprint.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

Note: Sprint stated they were in the process of of migrating all SERO accounts to SWAC, so you can either initiate the move yourself if you wish, or wait until they eventually get to your account.

Here is the dedicated customer service email. [email protected]
When I last used it, they took a full day to reply, but did so personably and thoroughly.

I have the SERO 500 at 40$, and Premium Data add-on charge of 10$. Will they still charge me that premium data addon charge if I go to the Advantage Unlimited Premium

No data add-on. Simple $30/$50 plans.

Did you learn about the conversion procedure from what I posted on that other swac thread....? 😉
I learned that Sprint automatically converted some some SERO accounts to SWAC from Reddit. I was given the link to request it from customer service.

so is data still unlimited on the plus plan or is it actually 10 GB total (including roaming)? if it is not unlimited then it may not be worth it for power data users.

Domestic Data is unlimited on both plans. The 10GB is for Canada and Mexico on the Plus plan. The Premium plan is unlimited in Canada and Mexico.

Do these plans included subsidized phones? I'm on "Unlimited Plus Family" legacy plan. My cost is bit higher but receive subsidized phones every 18 months.

So do we have to covert to SWAC if we still have SERO plans? I don't have WiFi and use 800 GB of data/month. Super worried about this data deprioritization deal.

that is what I have been hearing, that since november sprint has been secretly converting all sero to swacs. i wonder if they are going to deprioritize all domestic data roaming with swac or remove it altogether. i just don't think their network is strong enough because i imagine the majority of data with sprint is roaming domestic data due to their shoddy network.

EEK!EEK!I don't even use that much bandwidth on my cable! For normal use I wouldn't worry about it, but you might not get away with using that much data on another plan without being throttled.

I still have SERO, but only because I'm dragging my feet on upgrading my phone. My Note 5 is still kicking, but will probably become a Note 9 some time this year. New phone will probably be on a $20 Mint plan or something similar.

Now I need to decide whether to jump over to the $30 SWAC plan to postpone my Note 5 upgrade a little further.
I'm in the exact same boat but with the added wrinkle of cell service being atrocious at my office but I have a magic box helping things out. Once they install signal boosters at my office I think I'm jumping ship.

So does the $20 uber credit last for 12 months only? After that you don't get any credit?

Also just to confirm, I can cancel or switch anytime correct? I've been out of contract for a year and a half and don't know how it works anymore.

I'm still on an iPhone 7. Are there ways to get discounts on new phones?

Anyone been with sprint longer than me? I've been with sprint since 1999. Just curious.

You might as well wait for the Note 10 to come out in August/September.

Why do that when you can get the free plan? I converted two years ago. It's still going strong.

I have the free plan that ends in July. How do I keep it going?

You should be able to. I have the $50 plan. I get $20 Uber credits and HotSpot data too. My connection is slow at times, but I love this plan.

I didn't see anything about uber credit. Did it show on your account after upgrade?
