Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprin t.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

I'm on Sero $50, and I know nothing about SWAC.
Is there anything I'm losing by switching to SWAC that I should be aware of?
And is the included Amazon Prime full Amazon Prime, meaning that I can cancel my current yearly sub?
But used the hell out of it.
I also use over 100 gb from time to time.
And, I can do upgrades at Best buy. Maybe elsewhere as well.
- that took a lot of work to get working.
I also have Amazon prime
But hotspot for the kids tablets would be nice and I would like to add a wearable if possible.
450 Minutes of talk time I think
Unlimited Text and data
What are the benefits of this, and should I even risk doing the switch. I'm afraid if something goes wrong I wont be allowed on the new plan, but can't get back on the grandfathered SERO plan.
EWD Phone Conversion Option3.
Paying $50 for Amazon Prime doesn't make any sense.
I converted 4 13 year old SERO lines to the $30 a month plans.
Must use AutoPay, or pay $5 extra per line per month (35).
Plan seems much better because calls are Unlimited.
50 GB is plenty for me.
Hotspot and HULU aren't important to me, but included for free.
Was Offered 2 Free Phones to boot. Must visit retail store to pick them out

I switched to SWAC last month and after reading subsequent posts, I've had no regrets with the conversion. The process was seamless and, in addition, I now have phone/data coverage in Mexico/Canada (I currently volunteer with a non-profit that operates medical clinics in Baja California, MX so this is a big plus for me), as well as a 50gb hotspot and Hulu and Tidal Premium, all for $20 less/month. In the end, it was a pretty easy choice and I'm very pleased with the result. Nice to see that Sprint remembered we "old timers", that hung in there with SERO and it's various iterations, over the years. Good luck.
BTW, if you choose to convert your SERO plan and intend to take advantage of the SWAC plan's "International Roaming", which is included, you will have to call Sprint and have it enabled on your account, as it isn't done automatically through the conversion process. When questioned, Sprint directed me to call their "Sprint Worldwide" department, at 888-226-7212 Option 3 and they were able to easily enable the International Roaming feature.

I'm awestruck in how popular this thread is. Reminds me of the old SERO threads that went on for pages and pages.
