Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprin t.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

When I last used it, they took a full day to reply, but did so personably and thoroughly.

Edit: and I was worried that I would lose my last trade-in lease credit for my iPhone X, but they just went ahead and credited to my account w/o me even asking.
As noted in a previous thread, I can confirm that legacy SERO plans can be converted to SWAC plan. If you've been waiting for Sprint to contact you and have decided that this migration to SWAC would work for you, you can initiate the migration. I've had the SERO 500 plan, for several years and after reading other threads regarding this planned migration to SWAC, decided to contact Sprint.
As suggested in a recent Reddit thread, I sent an email to Sprint's CEO: [email protected] , requesting conversion of my SERO plan to SWAC and within 30 minutes received a follow-up email from Sprint Customer Care advising that my plan was converted to "Advantage Unlimited Plus"; but, was also given the option to upgrade to:
**** Please be advised your lines are also eligible for the Advantage
Unlimited Premium Plan. *****
Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan includes the following:
• $55 Advantage Unlimited Premium Plan
• Available for new SWAC/EWD family lines and migrations for existing
SWAC/EWD family lines
• $5/mo/line discount with active AutoPay enrollment
• Unlimited Canada/Mexico data roaming
• Streaming Full HD Video
•Includes 100 GB MHS along with Amazon prime,
•Outlook / Lookout Premium Plus
•12 month limited time Uber promotional credit plus existing features
from Advantage Plus.
this is the letter i was referring to that they sent after 3 billing cycles.

I remember comments/concerns expressed on FatWallet when SERO rolled out. There were those who warned that it was a "bait and switch" effort, by Sprint and that we might benefit for a couple of years; but, then...
It's taken 12+ years; but now, it (finally) appears that they were right. Sprint now wants to reduce my $50/month plan to $30 and in addition, give me a 50gb hotspot, international roaming, Hulu and Tidal. How insulting! Do they think that we skin our knuckles when we walk? Next thing you know, they'll be trying to convince us that the Earth isn't flat...
Thanks for the reminder. SERO has been great, with no complaints from me, but this looks like an upgrade alright. Thanks to the OP and for the suggestion to contact the CEO via email. Will give it a try.
Edit: and I was worried that I would lose my last trade-in lease credit for my iPhone X, but they just went ahead and credited to my account w/o me even asking.
How did they credit you the trade-in lease credit? Credit the total amount of monthly credits for the remaining months?

I'm not sure.....sounds like it went effective a month ago? Lol
been processed on 04/01/2019 . I have configured the Phone Number(s)
Xxx-xxx-xxxx with the Advantage Unlimited Plus plan ($30 with autopay,
$35 without autopay per smart and/or basic phone plan) effective
03/02/2019 which is the billing cycle
guess they meant 4/2, which just happens to be my new billing cycle
Anyone else have the same or different results?
I had my account converted from SERO to SWAC last week, and just out of curiosity, I went in to see my options when adding a new line. It will allow me to add a new line at the SWAC $30 or $50 price points. With SERO, there were no options to add new SERO lines. If you wanted to add a line, your only options were to add standard consumer priced service lines. For many people, that might be a big reason to switch.
Note: This of course requires that you have a SWAC line to start with.
