Sprint reached out and tells us that the link in the OP is outdated and this one https://community.sprint.com/t5/E...-p/1033393 is the newer, corrected one.
I didn't want to edit the OP but if the OP wanted to edit to have this link.. that would be great.

Note: Sprint stated they were in the process of of migrating all SERO accounts to SWAC, so you can either initiate the move yourself if you wish, or wait until they eventually get to your account.

Here is the dedicated customer service email. [email protected]
When I last used it, they took a full day to reply, but did so personably and thoroughly.

When I try to activate Prime, it is telling me that I will agree to pay Sprint $13 a month. Isn't Prime supposed to be free? I'm on SWAC Premium.
When you signed up for SWAC it should have texted you a sign up link. Did you get it?

Killerz, I did get that text link. I went through the whole process and at the end there was a dialog asking if I was willing to be charged $13 a month by Sprint for Prime.

1. Validating Spring account.
2. Redirecting to Amazon.
3. Activate Prime membership
4. After activation, your Prime free trial will end and you will pay Sprint $12.99/month for your Prime membership. (CONFIRM or NO THANKS).

Nowhere in these pages have I read that there would only be a trial. Now I was on a separate Prime month free trial that I enabled about 3 weeks ago, but I have canceled it and it is still active. Maybe that is causing the glitch?

So is this switch to SWAC still happening? I've never gotten any notice about it if it is. And has anyone but that one guy who got audited ever had an issue once switched to swac?

Why do that when you can get the free plan? I converted two years ago. It's still going strong.

My free one year will be up next month. What's the best way to go from there now? What are my options?

Is there any disadvantage to changing from SERO to SWAC?
Was just offered this by a rep, been with SERO for years... makes me wonder why the much better plan for much lower cost. Sounds too good to be without any problems...

Thanks in advance...
When I spoke with Sprint they confirmed if you have a sero account and no longer an employee you can switch. The disadvantage being they'd kick you off to a consumer plan after a year. Right now sero is the same price for me as unlimited single consumer, but if it goes up then that's the new price you'd pay in a year.

Someone told you they will kick SWAC accounts, converted from SERO, onto a consumer plan after a year? Did you ask them where in the fine print they reserve the right to do this?

Reasoning was because I am no longer an employee and not sponsored by a current employee. That was the CS justification. Can't speak to its validity.

I just converted my SERO 500 to SWAC Premium and was given no such warning. I've had my SERO account since the days where you didn't need an employee sponsor. I converted by filling out the form online, and was emailed back by a rep that once my billing cycle concluded I would be switched over. That happened last night and I was able to activate Prime, Tidal Hifi, etc with no issues. Try emailing [email protected], that's the address that sent me my confirmation.
