Still haven't gotten the $150 Slickdeals rebate from the AMEX card deal from a month back...
Vanguard money market is about 2.49% or so currently. Places like Cit bank is around 2.45%. Other places have 2.3-2.4%ish accounts. Purepoint has a no-penalty CD at 2.6%
But with 20K to play with, you may be better off doing the bank bonus game -- Discover/Capital One/HSBC checking/Citi and so on.
I checked our system and your approval is showing up on 3/8. You should receive payment by early next week.

I should have listened to the others on here, I was approved on 4/12/2019 and submitted the form immediately. It is now 6/15/2019 and SD is giving me some BS about never seeing confirmation on HSBCs end that an account was approved. They asked for the HSBC which I provided, and its been quiet on their end ever since. Still no rebate. First and last SD rebate I will partake in.
Did you sign up for online banking? as in making an online personal banking account? That seems to make the process faster.
$15 wire transfers. Expect to pay for each incoming wire transfer.
$25 account closing fee. If you close your account with HSBC within 180 days of opening it, you'll be charged a $25 fee.
No ATM access. The HSBC Direct Savings account is an online account, which means you won't be able to access your funds from an ATM''
15$ wire transfer ? can someone help me here? what does it mean ? if I send money from my checking act I will be charged 15$ ?how I deposit money then ?
You should be able to transfer from your checking (assuming it's a US ACCOUNT) using ACH instead of wires.
I too have not gotten my rebate. I'm still within the window so I'll keep my grumbling to a minimum. I will say this. The HSBC website and security are some of the most user unfriendly that I have ever seen. I literally cannot get back into my account between all the different codes, passcodes, banking number, PINs and the mobile app it is incredibly frustrating. I won't be staying with them.

Finally got in. No minimum balance is required so I moved all my cash out of the account. If you close the account within 6 months they will charge you $25. No thanks -- enjoy that 1 cent HSBC.
Hello, I still have not received the bonus via PayPal. If you can check my application or let me know if it's still processing I would appreciate it.
Hi, please send an email to [email protected] so they can look into this for you. Thanks!

Hi, we see your form submission sent on 6/3. Per the OP, it can take up to 60 days to process your submission. Please check your email and reply with any other questions you have regarding this bonus. Thanks!
Everyone take a deep breath. You will get your bonus but give them time. They have clearly said up to 60 days yet some of you are complaining before 30 days. You're getting $125 for very minimal work. Relax!
