TSC prices are regional and can vary greatly. I believe this sale is basically $2 off the normal price. For Middle Tennessee it's usually $19.99 but currently on sale for $17.99.

I know Indiana/Illinois is usually $14.99, so I just checked and it's currently on sale for $12.99.

Is this black oil sunflower seeds better than the bird food in Costco? If so, I don't want to bother trying mixer one from Costco.

Sunflower seed is ALWAYS better than a mixed seed. It'll bring in the most variety of birds with no filler or wasted seed.

FYI, saw the 20lb bag of Valley sunflower seeds reduced to $8.50 at Aldi's.
There was only one bag available, and couldn't find it in their ad, so definitely YMMV.
