    I would not recommend the 10.5" keyboard. I had one that ended up randomly failing in about a year. On top of that, the magnets that hold it onto the iPad were so strong they ended up cutting into the iPad itself and left clear marks that looked like chipped metal.

    If you look on Apple's own web store you will see that tons of people have issues with the keyboard randomly failing. What's even more odd is it seems Apple has acknowledged there are problems, but only extended the warranty for the 12.9" keyboard and not the 10.5" keyboard.
