Just a heads-up--these aren't abnormal prices. Joe's NB ALWAYS has sales going on...constantly. At least a few times a month (sometimes a week) you can easily find this stuff for these prices.

Agreed. However, it aggravates me to no end how their prices fluctuate so greatly over short periods of time. One day, a pair of shoes might go for $35...two days later, that same pair is $80. And I'm not talking about their Daily Deals.

Yep. I usually check every morning just to see if any of my favorites are on sale and in stock in my size. This isn't notable though, as far as sales go. Many of these shoes have been less than they are now.
The 517s are decent for everyday walking; the memory inserts are comfortable and the 4E is super wide, maybe even a bit too much. They run a half size big.
Can anyone recommend a cheap pair of tennis/running/walking sneakers? I will be using them exclusively for work - walking around the hospital for 14hrs.

The Reebok Print Lux (Dick's, on sale for $30 on their site) and the New Balance 517s (on this page) are both great for walking.
