Little guy likes this strapped to a chair a lot more than a restaurant highchair and he likes sitting in it while I work in the garden if he is tired of his play pen.

Little guy likes this strapped to a chair a lot more than a restaurant highchair and he likes sitting in it while I work in the garden if he is tired of his play pen.
The only downside is that, at least on ours, the inside strap that goes between the kids legs was too short and not adjustable. Since that strap has the buckle for the waste straps that means it was pretty much impossible to strap the kid in after a certain point. Kinda silly design since the waste straps are adjustable to fit a larger child.
We just started leaving the kiddo unstrapped and it still worked out since the tray holds them in just fine. Obviously up to you if you feel comfortable with that or not. I'm hoping they fixed this in the newer version but I have no way of knowing.
