| Product Description: | The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends children ride rear-facing until at least 2 years of age. Extend2Fit features a 4-position extension panel that provides 5” of extra legroom allowing your child to ride safely rear-facing longer. The seat can be used rear-facing from 4-50 lbs. and forward-facing from 22-65 lbs. The seat features Simply Safe Adjust which allows you to adjust the height of the harness and headrest as your child grows, InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment and Fuss Free harness storage which holds the buckle out of the way, so it’s easy to get baby in and out. Disagree, most effective for those with aging pets
Our son also never liked sitting in this one for some reason. Could be because it was in my wife's car and he only wanted to ride in the truck, but I think it was also due to the fact that we couldn't get the straps to fasten correctly. Then again he's kind of a weird 2 year old, last week he got mad because I wouldn't let him play in the active fireplace so he bit the couch.
But I would also like to add that my brother has this car seat and has always liked it. The Extend feature is OK but we both had tall kids and didn't really use that feature (at least while they were backwards facing). Having it extended while backwards facing also doesn't really work. Couldn't get the car seat tight enough to the seat and it pushed it out past the end of the seat a bit.
I'm sure others have had better experiences considering it gets good reviews, but personally I would go for the Chicco NextFit Air Zip if possible. I cannot compare to the Britax as I've never had one although I've also heard good things from friends.
