Saw a new sign at Walmart that looks pretty interesting. There's no dates on it, and I can't find any info on the deal anywhere which tells me that someone probably screwed up and put the sign out too soon....but anyway.

Seems like a pretty good deal for AT&T network:

$50/mo. but $40 with autopay:
- UNL Talk & Text
- 25GB High Speed Data then 2G
- Hotspot included
- Mexico and Canada roaming included

2 lines would be $70, 3 lines would be $100, 4 lines would be $120, and 5 lines would be $140.

Looks like this deal is only at Walmart - everywhere else has 16GB data offer and it requires autopay. This offer looks like it doesn't require auto-pay.

Bummer, I'd totally take the plunge to do this but I just switched in May to AT&T for the 8gb+8gb plan, and then I bought $400 in AT&T cards when Target had them on sale so even if I ported out I don't know how to transfer the account credit I've got.
So you redeemed all the cards to your account already?

I love att prepaid. Never understood why people go postpaid
What are the differences between the two that make prepaid better?

Can you swap the Walmart phone once the bonus data is added to the account or are you stuck with it?

No caps. Just depends on where you are and how congested it is

Is this the cheapest phone available?

Will dump and return to byod iPhones once more data points are in!

Thanks!!!
I like the LG Phoenix 4. Bought one earlier this year for 39.99. If I pull the trigger on this promo, I'd get this phone again.

True, but with a factory unlocked phone, you can hotspot for free using your allotted data.

Can I get this setup then insert the sim in a wifi Hotspot and use it exclusively with a Netgear Nighthawk or the sim will stop working?

You can do that for $35 using the ATT prepaid iPad plan (unlimited data).

They capp you after 22GB's? Can't do much with 2G, I pay $55 with Cricket unlimited max plan. And I use about 40 GBs of data. At peak times I switch my phone to 4G
