I tested the Finish Jet-Dry vs the standard Cascade Rinse Aid a while back, and didn't notice much of a difference.
Here's an extensive analysis on Rinse Aid from Wirecutter, which also discusses using vinegar:

I'm not saying anyone is wrong here, just bringing info from the other side.
I've read that using vinegar regularly in your dishwasher is not good for the machine.
The high acidity will degrade the rubber components in the machine and sometimes discolor metal flatware/pans etc.
Thanks for the post OP.

Thanks OP, will give it a try. If it's the same, it's cheaper than Finish.

Have a Bosch (uses air dry versus heat dry) as well and turn my dishwasher on twice a day. Both of those factors lead to me using a ton of rinse aid. Is there any smell that's left after the wash? It would be nice to see if this would work. Generally I buy the finish at Samsclub which is the same price as this during instant savings

True - for the most part.

Costco's $4 off coupon (on now) makes Finish basically the same price for the 32oz size (this is 30.5oz). (Someone was gonna ask so...)

True, probably don't need rinse aid with Cascade Complete.

After I run my crappy Whirlpool dishwasher and unload it, I press the Cancel button and it pumps out the water remaining in the bottom of the dishwasher. Really helps with the smell.
