It runs much cooler than intel based laptops, you dont need to undervolt or do any trickery to get the CPU to boost correctly. Granted, it is about as powerful as an i7-7700HQ not an 8750H.
The biggest feature that I know of, is the fact that it support FreeSync! It is not advertised because of the Nvidia GPU.
All you do is download generic AMD graphics drivers and its enabled after install in the AMD settings. The default driver does not allow this.
Everything goes through the onboard vega GPU on the Ryzen chip so you can have FreeSync with the Nvidia GPU active. A similar thing happened when the Ryzen APU's came out for desktop.
It works great 48-120 Hz and greatly increases the value of the laptop.

Even better than 1070 in terms of temperature on GPU. I have my Alienware m15 equipped with 1660 ti, and there is no throttling even playing after a long session. Temperature is under 80 Celsius for GPU all the time.
