So this is the one to get for PC gaming?
This is great for PC gaming.

The other good entry level wheel to look at is the G29. If you're interested in how they compare, I wrote up a detailed summary which is at the top of page 2. I personally prefer the G29, but most people like the T300 better.

Oh, that makes sense, those are strictly better. What wheel were you using with them before you just bought the T300?

I just got Fanatec pedals and T300 around the same time.

The T300 is smoother with more force, but the response isn't as immediate, it requires a loud fan for cooling (which may break), the pedals don't feel as good to me, and historical durability/support hasn't been the best. The optional shifter is another $150, and is too long and slow, but it is all metal.

The G920 / G29 has more immediate response, has nicer pedals, a nicer feeling wheel rim, it doesn't require a loud fan for cooling, and Logitech support and durability are great, but the wheel isn't as smooth and may feel notchy, it doesn't have as much force, and it will have an awful loud clank if you set force feedback too high (which, to be fair, you shouldn't do). The optional shifter is only $50 and has a nice, short throw, but it's mostly plastic and has little resistance.

Most prefer a smoother wheel with more force, and thus the T300 - and this is a great price for it.

But if you value more immediate feedback over smoothness, the G29 / G920 is a great option. And if you're on PC, get the G29 because it has around 8 more buttons than the G920 and thus is like getting a free button box.
Thanks for the detailed comparison! Do you know how the T300 RS-GT compares to the old Logitech Driving Force GT wheel? Or how the DF-GT compares to the G29/G920? How much better are the new ones?

Also, how much better is the T-GT than the T300 at basically twice the price (both comparing deal pricing)?

Just bought the g29 for ps4 for $208 a few weeks ago. Worth it to return to Amazon (if able) and get this? Any opinions from those that have used both?

I bought the G29 about a year ago and still use it almost every day in GT Sport. I'm generally satisfied with the G29, but if I had to do it again, I think I'd get the Thrusmaster T-GT.

Does anyone know if this wheel can be used with the logitech shifter and preferably the pedals too? (the pedals pictured here look kind of low quality in comparison). I don't want to have to buy another shifter but this is a really good price.

You'll need to buy another shifter, the "Thrustmaster TH8A Add-On Gearbox Shifter" specifically. Or you can just use the paddle shifters that are already built-in with the wheel.

You won't see even close to $300 worth of features in the T-GT over the T300, even if you only play Gran Turismo, for which the T-GT is purposely designed.

I've been playing GT Sport since launch and haven't even considered using a wheel. Probably going to give this a try and see how it feels.

Never use a direct drive wheel. It'll ruin you forever. These Thustmaster and Logitech wheels in comparison are for little kids playing Mario Racing.

It's too bad none of the mainstream game controller companies will get involved in order to make them more approachable and affordable.
