The Coralife Biocube 32 gallon has been significantly discounted. I was watching it on Prime Day but it didn't drop. It is now $272 from the usual $340.

It's not a perfect tank but it is great for beginners and enthusiasts, alike.

Not sure how long it will last and we don't get too many aquarium deals. I'm looking to put one in my office or setting up a new tank for the kids.

As an owner of a 32g Biocube for about 4 years, I wouldn't recommend it. It's the worst parts about owning a saltwater tank, amplified. You think cleaning pumps is a pain in the ass? How about if we stick that pump into a 4" wide channel. You think heat is a problem in your tank now? How about if we slap a closed hood all the way around the tank. Now add a powerhead in there with the cord draped across the 4" cavity... and a heater...and. The limitations are endless. I tweaked and fought the obvious for years. Eventually caved and upgraded. Soooo much easier with more room to work. And, obviously, larger tank size means more water which means more stable parameters.

And please don't link me to the handful of people with nice Biocubes. I know. I did nanotuners. I was on the Nanoreef and ReefCentral forums. They're the exception. For each one of them, there's 50 people hatin life.

PS: ROFL at those pictures with all the LPS coral and Blue Hippo Tang.
Not a fit for me, but it's great to see people posting saltwater aquarium deals here. Keep 'em coming!

No, no tangs, even baby one would outgrow it. This is good for a couple crown fish, a goby, an anemone and a shrimp maybe.

Got an LED version from my localfish store for $99. This was when they had a fire sale going on. Been looking for the stand to go on sale for the past year, but it doesn't seem to drop in price.

You scored for 90 bucks! Back in the day they only came with t5s. It's about time they ship out with LEDs. How are the LEDs?

I started with a t-5 biocube as well then upgraded to a 40 breeder. I also had a 20 long in my office. I was addicted lol. One day I will start it back. Good price on the this biocube.

How's this for a heavily planted FW tank (I'm talking co2 injected) and what are the limits for corals with this? Soft and LPS or can it do across or some SPS? Any details appreciated.

I would say softies and low light LPS. The lights are minimal.

Rather poor. I have the 16g version. Par numbers are pretty disappointing.

Will clams survive with these lights?

With Srgaudio saying PAR numbers are disappointing, I'd guess it wouldn't be good lighting for clams.

Survive? Maybe. Thrive? Unlikely.

I think you mean compact fluorescent. They never came with T5s.

Happy to see aquarium deals but I've bought a few of these for around $100 with extras from people getting out. Just flipped one a few weeks ago. Regardless, happy to see an aquarium deal.
