    I went to the store instead of ordering online first. I sat in one rocker and it made a cracking noise every time I rocked back. I pulled out three more rockers and tried them and had that same cracking noise. It was an annoying sound too. Made people look my way when they walked by. I am not that heavy, I am a female who weighs 130 pounds and 58 years old so I wasn't rocking real fast either. I rocked for about 3 minutes or so and felt like I couldn't deal with that at home so I passed. Then I get home and checked the reviews, mostly good ones, but the bad reviews talk about a "popping" noise when you rock. I would rock in them before you take them home and see if you are ok with the noise.

    For what's it's worth, I just picked up two and neither make any noise. I'm 200 pounds. Surprisingly comfortable

    Thanks for the heads up. These are most likely injection molded so must have been a big batch that got manufactured & shipped into stores nationwide.

    Are these rocking chair even durable. Yeah its $20 but I dont want a hidden cost of a hospital bill hitting me full-force somewhere down the line.
