    I went to the store instead of ordering online first. I sat in one rocker and it made a cracking noise every time I rocked back. I pulled out three more rockers and tried them and had that same cracking noise. It was an annoying sound too. Made people look my way when they walked by. I am not that heavy, I am a female who weighs 130 pounds and 58 years old so I wasn't rocking real fast either. I rocked for about 3 minutes or so and felt like I couldn't deal with that at home so I passed. Then I get home and checked the reviews, mostly good ones, but the bad reviews talk about a "popping" noise when you rock. I would rock in them before you take them home and see if you are ok with the noise.

    Thanks OP, got 5 Adams Rocking Chairs and 3 Adams Tables for $105 final price, finally something simple to replace my 3 years old patio set Wink.

    Note: for those wondering about the final price here's the math: 20% of $100 Lowe's coupon, an extra 4% on a site i can't share here and 3% cash back on my credit card, no bad at all.

    Labor Day's only 5 weeks away and retailers need the floor space for the Fall / Halloween merchandise right after that.

    Son of a...! $20 and a bunch of good ratings? I just spent $130 for a couple wooden Adirondack rockers and still need to sand, prime, and paint them. And they'll only end up on the back patio where nobody will ever see them. Why????
