StackSocial[stacksocial.com] is having a sale on a lifetime subscription to ThunderDrive Cloud Storage for the below pricing when using code JULY25SAVE:
I just had a CHAT session with Thunderdrive. There is no way to get a free account for testing purposes, and even the cheaper of the two plans on their site is $5/month, BUT you can't sign up for a month to test it...you have to pay $60 for a year. CHAT said you can cancel w/i 30 days, but I don't trust them for a refund. She said they had been in business since 2007, but I can't find a single review except for TrustPilot and they are brand new and not very good (too slow):
I wasn't going to, but out of curiosity, I bought a lifetime subscription and so far think it is a good deal.
The interface is similar to Google Drive.
When sharing a link there is a calendar that you can click on so that the link expires on the date that you set.
If you have a Thunderdrive account and someone shares a Thunderdrive link with you, you can click IMPORT rather than DOWNLOAD, and the file will appear instantly in your SHARED WITH ME folder.
Upload/download speeds are as expected, dependent on the plan I have with Suddenlink.
Downsides (noted so far), which I hope they are working on...
It allows you to upload the same file more that once instead of alerting you that it is a duplicate.
When a file upload fails, it just stops uploading rather than moving on to the next file in the upload queue.
Overall, it is a bargain at the current price of $44.25 for 2TB. I don't know how long the offer or the discount will last.
And when I was setting up the account, Thunderdrive offered an additional 2TB for $39.
Regarding LIFETIME...any company can go out of business at any time. Who knew such huge, well-known companies as Enron and Arthur Anderson Accounting would fold!!!
Like everything else in life, 'You pays your money and you takes your chances'.

This reminds me of a certain lifetime vps that demanded payment after a few years and turned off everyone's vps if they didn't pay up. The last buy in I made on the "lifetime" vps didn't even last a year.
Total garbage service and the people behind it are even worse.
They double charged me then made me fight them for weeks to get half the money back.
Then I find out they limit the file size at 5GB and don't have an app, both things they neglect to mention in any of their advertisements.
I left a very similar review on Trustpilot and they had the nerve to report my review as fake. I provided Trustpilot with proof I do indeed have a lifetime account with Thunderdrive so that review will be going back up soon.
Stay far away... These people, "Ashley" and "Amanda" specifically, are complete trash out there scamming. I told you I'd be letting the world know you falsely reported my review to hide your garbage Amanda. Here's one, I'll see you on the next review page, and the one after that, and so on!
Thunderdrive is a SCAM!!! It is a rip-off of Bedrive (https://bedrive.vebto.com/). What thunderdrive has basically done is that they have purchased the bedrive PHP script for 40$ from (https://www.inkthemes.com/market/...hp-script/) and runs it. They haven't even made any basic changes or added any features to it.
Thunderdrive will not be alive for a long time. And whatever they have mentioned in their roadmap will never be coming. Their servers are already down most of the time as they are running cheap and they will not be improving it as they don't plan to be around for a long time. Once they make as much money as they can they'll disappear suddenly one day.
So guys... do not store your valuable files on thunderdrive. If you want just store files that are not important and won't affect you if you lose it.
When you look for a reliable cloud storage provider to store your important files always check if they have 2FA feature and client-side encryption (zero-knowledge). 2FA is not an easy system to implement and those who have that feature are serious about their product and they plan to stay for a long time in the market. They will have to hire expert programmers and have good hardware to implement these features. That's why they cost more, but your files will be safe.

Whose lifetime? Mine or the company's?
ZERO reviews for this likely fly-by-night operation.

Guess I will pass on this offer unless anyone here knows anything about this company or this cloud storage/sharing service?

Absolutely not worth it.
