Oh gosh why do you continue writing your username after your post 😱
Plus taxes and fees. If you live in IL like I do, taxes will be like $8 extra per month. There is always a $5 e911 fee plus other bogus fees.
mint is $240 for a yr on their 1 yr/8gb plan. They also have buy 3 months get 3 months free promotion for New comers right now

So do I. When the charge me they add taxes to it, even though it's taken out of my existing balance and not my card. Maybe it's a state thing.

Will this work if I'm an att postpaid customer? I'm paying like 180 for 4 lines unlimited but only use about 5gb/month.

Cricket unlimited is $100 for 4 lines, with no taxes or fees or having to prepay for a year.

I like these plans and pricing for sure. Only downside I've found are you don't get any Mexico or Canada talk text or data roaming and you CANNOT add any of the other international data packages to these plans. You also can't use WIFI calling which I really need at home. If they had these features I'd be in in a heartbeat.

If you're right, the no wifi calling would be a killer for me. Essential where I spend most of my time.

Can't really compare can you? Someone looking at this plan doesn't need unlimited, nor 15GB free hotspot I imagine. They are probably a lower end data user and the $25/month price is very appealing. Why pay $60/month if you don't need it.

Red pocket is like $20/mo for 5 gigs of data on att network.

When I first ported to AT&T prepaid, I did it instore and paid taxes every month on the plan. Later I changed plans online and haven't been charged taxes since then.

I just signed a "trial" 3 month Mint Mobile to try them out after leaving Sprint. I want to like their service, but cannot send pictures in text messages. Does anyone know a fix for this? Related YouTube vids aren't helping. Thanks.
Surely someone has answered, but you need to set up an APN in the phone that has all the settings like mms server, port, and types.

This thread makes it seem like WiFi calling was enabled for prepaid users. Is it not so?

Anyone have luck converting their account? I'm paying $45 after taxes for essentially the same plan on AT&T today. I'd obviously like to pay less for the same thing.

Same here, I paid taxes for couple of years even on online payments. I didn't know about gift card balance concept

Red pocket doesn't support mms from iPhone to android or vice versa.. Android to android mms works just fine..
That's correct, which is a very big deal to quite a few people.

Nope data and voice are prioritized differently.
Well, I do get 8 GB from Mint right? I doubt it affects much based on prioritization in my case..

I did exactly what the videos on YouTube and Mint Sim advised, but it just shows "Sending", then error sending...

It's great people enjoy their mint plan because it's $60 dollars cheaper but let's look at the facts. Tmobile indoor coverage and rural coverage blows for most. For example I had decent coverage outside, but no coverage in my apt, work, shopping at walmart. They out of city coverage drops off. With AT&T you get indoor coverage. Rural area coverage. You get data roll over. You get Hotspot, calls and text to Mexico Canada. I guess depending on location
