Oh gosh why do you continue writing your username after your post 😱
Plus taxes and fees. If you live in IL like I do, taxes will be like $8 extra per month. There is always a $5 e911 fee plus other bogus fees.

My long time Google Voice number shows eligible to be ported into AT&T, just saying.
There are two types of Google Voice numbers, ones that you ported in and paid around $20 to Google and the second ones are those assigned by Google as VOIP numbers. The first ones are the ones you can port out.

These are the same old Cricket plans, nothing new. Will wait to see if something changes or will move to AT&T prepaid.

Excellent distinction and makes sense as you couldn't port in a VOIP number to Google Voice to begin with.

Where did you refills? Target? Did you buy $100 increments?

Its midnight on east cost so I guess Target deal will expire in a few hours.

I want to port from Verizon prepaid, what is easiest way to do this with using the refill cards?
I bought two $100 cards and two $50 cards at Target. With the RedCard discount it comes to slightly under 10% off.

Callingmart has the refills at 7% off using code B2S197

Are you saying that they are honoring this deal in-store now? And I don't understand how all of you guys are paying online with refill cards - is it necessary to have your initial credit card payment rejected to enable this option? Do you activate the SIM and get an account number somehow before actually signing up for a service plan?
I went to the store since I was driving right past it. I showed them the plan on the AT&T website and told them I wanted it. They got a SIM and assigned a new number. I would have paid in store but they had issues with their credit card terminal. Everything worked out in the end.

I'm assuming old sims are no good. I had to enter a credit card online with the order as others have said. Total came out to $326 which includes sim card and taxes/fees. I used a $50 Visa gift card to place the order so full amount could not be charged. Sim card was the only thing showing as pre-authorized for $5.34. And if so can I then add activate it online w/o calling and use refund cards? I dont have phone number yet so cant use refill link.

Also is their a maximum number of refill cards you can use because tomorrow's Target deal is best on $50 dollar value cards.
This seems like the way to do it. Let us know how it works out.

Target has the $50 refill for $42.75 today using RedCard. That makes the deal even sweeter for some. I don't think there is a limit to the maximum number of cards one can enter on the AT&T portal. I used four and as soon as the $300 hit my phone was activated.

Well I've never paid Google to port a number and this is an original VoIP number that they gave me so clearly that's not the whole story.

I thought there was a $3 fee or something to be able to unlock a number to port it out from GV

I am still on the fence. If I get the sim, I may still do the WMT promo for $40 a month and try to return the phone and transfer to the sim I just ordered

The best place to buy AT&T airtime cards at this time is Safeway (Albertsons and I guess their family of stores). In the Just4 app, they have a coupon for 10% off ATT cards of $30 and above (expires 8/17).

If you have an Amex Preferred card, it maks it 16% off (or $48 discount on $300)

Impressive. So are you going to port in or are you just coming to just say?
