I agree. that .3 lbs will cause me a hernia. Mad
The HP is $130 cheaper with 1yr manufacturer warranty plus whatever extension your credit card may give you.

The Asus has a ~40% better CPU, ~36% better GPU, twice the ram, better resolution screen, anti-glare screen, and 4 year warranty (if you buy from costco with a citi card)

Only you can decide whether you'd rather have those better specs+warranty, or $130.
Had this for a couple of days but decided to return it. Was made of plastic, matte screen, speakers were not the best, terrible battery life, did not charge via USB C. Not sure about upgradeability, as I did not open it. I guess for $400, it ain't bad, but I'd rather spend a bit more for better quality, like the recent Lenovo Yoga 730 at Best Buy.

We can't because there are tons of Dell laptops. You gonna have to be more specific.

Get this for any sort of gaming. Should handle fortnite well. I don't think you can play anything at 1080p on that Dell.

Does anyone know if there is any space for a second drive? I think so based on different options on Asus' page. Same with RAM. It looks like one of the 2 slots can be upgraded (one has 4GB soldered on) for a max of 12GB. I'd like to confirm with someone who knows for sure. It looks like a good deal for what it is.

Anyone know what's the rated battery life? I expect it to be around 4 hours given it's a 2 cell with 37WHr?

Could use some help comparing this Asus with the following Dell system

Intel Core 8th Generation i5-8265U Processor (Quad Core, Up to 3.90 GHz, 6MB Cache, 15W)
Windows 10 Home 64bit English
512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Class 35 Solid State Drive
8GB (1x8GB) 2666MHz DDR4 Non- ECC
15.6 inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-glare LED Backlight Non-touch Narrow Border IPS Display
Intel UHD Graphics ($612)

Primarily for general use (no gaming or business application) and for Lightroom Classic. Thanks
