If you're interested in multiplayer, Titanfall 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2 still have active multiplayer and are awesome.

SWBF2 has more free DLC coming this year, and its not a stretch to expect more DLC associated with Episode 9 in the future.

TF2 has not had new content since Dec 2017, but Apex has breathed life into TF2 and multiplayer on PC is still 1500-2k players peak and 700-1k off peak. Single player campaign is short about 5-8 hours and a gem. There is also a horde mode for 4 players which is great if you're not interested in fighting the tryhards online. Private matches are available.

Both games are all free DLC, only paid cosmetics with no loot boxes.

Titanfall 2 is a true gem. Story is excellent but the multiplayer is even better. Even after all these years it still has an active player base

I'm definitely buying like four of these. can't beat $5 for a PC multiplayer game. They almost never go completely dead

Just got a fairly decent laptop from the Dell deal that's been floating around here the last few days. This is great timing and will allow me to get a couple of decent FPS that I can try out once it arrives on Thursday

Do any of the multiplayer games require a pass or subscription to play online? I have never really understood the concept of "season passes".

Great to hear about SWBF2 I was on the fence about it. But wanted something to do every once in awhile.
