    I'd buy this from target. Amazon mixes it's inventory and I am not sure if I'd risk getting a fake USB-C cable however there are only 3 "new" sellers for this listing, one of which is Adorama who is an AAR.

    Ya the reviews calling out on the fake stocks are definitely concerning. I have no doubt Amazon will refund but who knows what a fake charging cable can do to a device. I'd be extra careful and inspect the package.

    If you get this from Amazon and the original UPC is visible, it's probably legit.

    If the UPC is covered by a second printed UPC sticker, it's probably intermingled stock and likely counterfeit.
