I bought a cable that has a right angle connection and it won't fit in several of my cell phone cases.

I remember reading that there was some fatal flaw with these types of magnetic charging cables…

But i can't remember what it was. haha

Accidental static discharge into the (unplugged) device because it effectively exposed the pins?

I've been using some like these for about 6 years now that I got on that one Express place.

I use them for absolutely everything now. I never have to worry about what device I need to plug in where they just all work.

Someone said these only have 10W charging which is extremely low. They look like they are charging only as well.

This honestly doesn't seem like a very good deal to me.

I have many of these at home. But I found they only work well enough for old devices. Many recent phones with USB C won't take any charge from the wire. The best use is for those old micro usb device.
