Our research indicates that Klipsch R-610F Floor Standing Speakers (Pair) are $171 lower (42.46% savings) than the next best price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $398.
Anyone compared Sony core floorstanding SSCS3 vs these R-610F in terms of sound quality? I do see this has a single driver was the cores that have 2 drivers.
Anything wrong with using these speakers for front, side, and back in a 7.1.2 home theater setup? (dedicated projector room, 18'x25', I have no worries about the space they will take up)
I have the Pioneers Andrew Jones and I love them, but I need my surround sound for my boyfriend's apartment. Are these a step up or more of a sideways move (the Pioneers have 4 drivers so I dunno)? Unfortunately I can't demo it.

same question here. I have a 7.1 with everything klipsch except the FS52 towers and im wondering if these sound better or if it would be good to make everything match

Lots of people do that and the main reasons people don't is probably space and cost. I guess if you had a tower with a bunch of drivers it may not be as suitable for a possibly close up surround speaker but these only have 2 drivers should it shouldn't be a problem there either.

Edit: That's for a single speaker. Not the pair. Thanks for those that corrected me.
Each though.
