No thanks. I was burned by AT&Ts grandfathered promo for Directv Now. Had a clause that basically said they could raise the rate when they wanted to.

5G won't have as much coverage area as LTE because of higher frequency band. We will have spots for 5G initially and then slowly cover block, street, town, city, state, and then whole country. Don't think because you hear 5G a lot means we are there, it's a really long roadmap which will take at least 3-4 years.

If you've got a GM vehicle, just press the blue OnStar button. You don't even need to fiddle with AT&T at all. (I have T-Mobile... never contacted AT&T.... just pressed the blue button...)

I have a Ram 1500 with Att wifi and was currently paying $25/month. I called to cancel and they asked why and I said it was expensive. She replied back with "oh we have a promo currently for $15/month" so I said ok switch me over to that. Phone call took about 5-10 minutes to save me $10/month. It's convenient to have wifi in my truck, kids uses it with their ipads when they have them and I connect my phone to it when I have spotty service with Verizon (weird I know but yes there is spotty service with Verizon where I'm at).

I don't see Nissan listed: https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car.html
You might have to purchase the AT&T Spark to put in your vehicle's OBD port in order to get the deal.

Can someone explain how one without a car could potentially get this for internet?

Do you need to buy an AT&T Spark device and a standalone power adapter for it and then this $15 plan is eligible to be activated?

Or can you just buy a Mobley device and directly activate that instead of the AT&T Spark device and then transfer the SIM into an AT&T pocket hotspot device?

If you want your phone to die by the time you get to the destination. I've tried this while charging in the car and the battery doesn't charge fast enough to keep up with the usage. This is for a hour drive to the beach with 3 kids.
