I'm starting a new thread since the existing one is for new line or port in.

I called Xfinity mobile customer care to ask if they are offering any promotion to existing customers to upgrade to latest iPhone 11 phones and I was informed, in no uncertain terms , that I'm eligible for $250 Visa card if I were to buy a new iPhone 11 (Max or otherwise). He even read some written promotion to confirm when I told him I was suspicious of that offer. I even pointed out their website states that a new line or a port in is required... but I was informed that is not required.

The only requirement is I will have to buy the phone at a local Xfinity store.

Recommended: Place your order for the new iPhones on or after September 20th, 2019 *IN STORE ONLY*

Just chatted with support. They confirmed that the reward is applicable. The only requirement is that you purchase a new 'in-stock device' and it replaces an existing device(BYOD or XM purchased - does not matter) on an existing line.

From other posts here, even pre-orders and back-orders are being accepted - with the only catch being that you receive the device and activate it before offer end of Sep 30.

I pre-ordered 11 online last week to replace my BYOD iPhone and activated it assuming the $250 credit is only for new customers. Is there any possibility for me to use this offer or is it too late Frown?

This offer is valid from Aug 23. So yeah definitely eligible. Contact customer support for that order id.

Nowhere. And that's a pain. I asked the sales rep in store as well as support person on chat on any confirmation at all for the reward. They said there is none. And it takes up to a week from the date of activation, for the reward to be available for tracking on xfinityrewardcenter.com. And there the status will reflect what's happening with the reward. Approved/Pending Qualification/Disqualified etc..

According to the contract, I have 14 days to return the device. If anyone got a written confirmation from xfinity about this reward card, please chime in. TIA!

I told the rep when I was in store that all my reports are locked. He said they don't do a hard pull (I was only upgrading one phone and paying in full) and it would have failed prior to me entering my SS. After talking to verification dept on Sat order was shipped yesterday. The vmail from verification said that if you didn't call back within 24 hours (I think?) they would cancel the order. Did you wait too long?

What happens to the phone number attached to the device when you return it?

YOUR CURRENT STATUS IS: Pending Fulfillment Eligibility
If you are an existing Mobile customer and upgrade to a new Samsung or Apple at a Xfinity Retail store between August 23, 2019 and September 30, 2019, you may be eligible to receive a $250 prepaid card for each phone you upgrade and activate. The Prepaid Card reward will be sent within 16-18 weeks of service activation. To qualify for your reward, you must maintain your Mobile services for 90 days and keep your account in good standing.


BYOD counts. The guy who was checking out for me knew it - it is still an upgrade.

You are buying the device from them. It does not matter what you had before as long as it's something you took from Xfinity and is not paid off (50%).
Key point is - keep the service and loan active for 3 months - this is something I specifically asked about - It's 0% so doesn't matter to keep the phone on.

An upgrade is an upgrade, relax people. BYOD or not you will get your 250.

If You're an existing Mobile customer - nowhere does this state you if hold a phone bought from Xfinity.

Do not listen to customer reps and store folks who do not know about this in detail.

No I called within the 24 hours and I'm just locked out and no time to deal with this 😕

Not sure about the answer about using your work internet, but the wireless bill is totally separate from the other Xfinity lines. They bill mine monthly to my credit card.

It took about 3 days but I do see xfinityrewardcenter showing my promo card pending.
