    When you lay down a washer or dryer for transport you run the risk of it getting out of balance, transmission oil leaking out or seeping in to unwanted areas, or the belt on the dryer popping out of place. Same with fridges and refrigerant.

    Tempted but the reviews (as well as how many readers found the reviews helpful) scare me. Looks like this is basically a rebranded Whirlpool https://www.homedepot.com/p/Whirl...290535-_-N, which is very well reviewed on homedepot. I wonder why the reviews are so different.

    There are also three "buy a dryer get a free washer" deals but you'll have to search for a link since I didn't save it, the price of the dryer is inflated but the combo prices were actually pretty good on two of the pairs.

    It's a good price but it's made by Frigidaire and the Frigidaires get horrible reviews. It's slim pickings for these stacked laundry centers. The old Whirlpools were the best but the new ones suck. The best of the lot is GE... but they are not really GE... they are Haier. Have had the GE one for over a year in gas. So far so good.... but it was $1200 or so on sale
