Yes, it is probably the least expensive grinder you will find that will be acceptable for true espresso. While grinders like the Baratza Encore can get close, you cannot really dial in your shot like you can with this one.

Where the Breville struggles will be on courser grinds if you are looking for french press. This grinder does not grind course. Good for espresso, drip and pour over if you don't need to go course.

I do not. If you had that machine, not sure why you would need a separate grinder if your main propose is for espresso. The grinder pro would give you more options above fine espresso grinds though.

grinder included with espresso machine is not good (only 5 settings)
Professional ones have over 400+ grind setting to optimize the taste.
