This seems like a good deal for sub $500 before taxes, but other retailers haven't shown bf/cm deals so there will most likely be better deals to be had come three+ weeks from now. If I could buy it today then it's a really good deal as I cannot find any other deals with those specs for a new touchscreen laptop sub $500.

my experience with inspiron 3000 (lowest inspiron series) is that they cut corners on screen quality (low brightness / poor viewing angles) and build quality (a lot of plastic and cheap feeling build quality). if those aren't important to you, then this is decent for the specs, assuming you would make good use out of the 12gb ram and storage space.

I share the same thoughts with the Inspiron 3000 line. I usually don't care about owning the fanciest laptop, but after trying out the entire Dell lines, I feel like I'd need to go with at least the Inspiron 5000 (still mostly plastic but feels more rigid) to be confident...

I think the better deal is $400 Dell 14 2in1 5000 series + $100 1tb NVME, just my opinion. Hoping to wait until more choices come out.

Great specs, poor build quality. Up to you knowing that.

Isn't this the same one Costco had about month ago. Have not opened mine yet, hoping something better on black Friday as the dell I am using is still kicking

Before credit card cancel price match. Best way is buy from costco and then price match with credit protection. Now since that option is not available anymore. Just be minded that Costco deal is half warm. You will always find something cheaper somewhere if you are fast enough. If you dont have time and want ease of mind then go with Costco

There should be some great laptop deals this year, I would think. We're finally at the point where 10th-gen CPUs, 8GB DDR4, and SSDs are standard. Add in 1080p IPS touchscreen and backlit keyboards and you're all set.

Anything less than a 1tb drive is a waste of money. SSD's are not nearly as pricey as a couple years ago.

Different strokes for different folks. You need a 1tb drive, others don't. And you could possibly get an external HDD, it's not a waste of money. 🤦🏻 ♂️
