Chaos. Awesome. You are crazy helpful on this thread. So thank you!

So I have two lines currently and I pay about 80 bucks. So most it would be is 40 a line. But should be cheaper since more you add more you save. Maximum output is 120. Probably less. Which is still great deal.

Many said what you said to make sure you use the phone a bit to "activate it" or get tmobile to associate new phone and new sim together before swapping sims.

How long till I can swap sims. Be conservative and wait a week maybe?

The ultimate conservative thing if I am thinking of this correctly is to get a friends old phone. Put my current sim in it and use that while waiting for the rebate.

The big risk here is doing the swap and then coming back and saying I didn't qualify for it cause the sim wasn't in the phone. Which negates the deal.

You're very welcome.
Many people in past "free Xr" deals have had success doing the sim swap.
But yea, it's best if you have a spare phone on hand and just use the new phone with the new sim for a bit.
The $40 per line price is still a great deal

Is the trade-in device has to be perfect or tiny crack on front glass will be fine or will they reject the trade-in?

All type of iPhone's are allowed, provided iCloud is unlocked

If you have to open up a new account with 1 line, the deal is not good. Cheapest line would be $60. Multiply that by at the very least 2 months. (3 if the rebate takes longer). The decision is up to you. Oh yea, and you have to buy a 6s
Thanks for this! I was specifically looking for this scenario. Maybe I'll wait for another iPhone deal.

Here's what I would do.
Open up two new lines under your current account at the same time.
How much is an each extra line on your account?
Once you get the 11's, be sure you at least make some test calls, use data (not wifi) with the new sim. Swap your old sim to the iPhone 11 and send out both iPhone 6s plus.
Once you get the rebate, cancel the line.
None of that is needed. Just keep the new lines open till you get the rebate, then cancel that line. That's all you need to do. I just put the new phone on one of my old lines and nothing on the new lines. I got all rebates. As a PS: your old sim from a 6s won't work on the new phone (different size SIM). You need to use the new SIM card but just activate on your old line in the new phone.

Question: what if Costco account is under one name and T-Mobile account is under a different name? Will this void the promo? Anyone has experience from previous $750 back promos?

I did a promo back in May (opened a second T-Mobile account for that) and now they would not allow me to open a new account under the same SSN.

Stuck on a TMO One promo plan (100 for two lines plus one line free). If I touch this plan, I'd lose a free line. So frustrating.

iPhone 11 have esim and a physical sim. So i think if you activate the new number on esim then you can put your old sim in the physical sim and have both numbers on the phone at the same time. No need to swap no need to worry that you are not using the new number.

6s and 11 physical sim both has the same Nano sim no? I believe Apple has been using Nano sim from iPhone 5

There shouldn't be any problem. I did the one in March. My sister was the costco member and I am the one at Tmobile. I got the rebate. No hassle.
