Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

I have traded in 6s for a iphone pro max 64 gb. Display price for it was $1049 but at the billing counter they charged me $999. Not sure what was that additional $50 discount. Offered price for my 6s was $45 which will appear as bill credit on my tmobile account and the remaining $535 will come via rebate card. Location - Dallas, TX

Question: what if Costco account is under one name and T-Mobile account is under a different name? Will this void the promo? Anyone has experience from previous $750 back promos?

I did a promo back in May (opened a second T-Mobile account for that) and now they would not allow me to open a new account under the same SSN.

Stuck on a TMO One promo plan (100 for two lines plus one line free). If I touch this plan, I'd lose a free line. So frustrating.
Regarding SIM card I don't believe this is true. I have already bought an unlocked iPhone 11 from Apple and I was able to take my sim from 6s and put in iPhone 11. So this doesn't seem correct.

I see multiple people on one or one plus were not eligible, even though the offer details say otherwise.
Has anyone not on the newer Magenta plans successfully get this deal?

I have straight talk and believe when I signed up I had to choose whether I had a Verizon or AT&T phone to determine what network I needed to be on.

So question, after the 60 or 90 days, am I able to use this phone on straight talk?

I think your question is tough to answer. That's why nobody reply.

OK, here is mine to give you some light:

Official answer is that " If you send a Device that is not in working order and does not meet the Program's eligibility requirements, we will not be able to credit your account)". What's the eligibility requirements? Read the attached document. In regard to the screen part, it is "Does the LCD/screen work when turned on, without any cracks or void areas (i.e. missing pixels) on the display screen". You need to make your own judgement on the qualification of your old phone.

Now my personal answer, since they miserably only estimate the old 6s at $36, I have a hard time to believe that they will carefully examine each phone. So my guess is that so long as the damage is not obvious, they will pass it. Don't blame me if I am wrong, but that's my best guess.

There shouldn't be any problem. I did the one in March. My sister was the costco member and I am the one at Tmobile. I got the rebate. No hassle.
Thanks much. Same last name?

I hope you found the answer for this. If not, I'll try to explain. I'm not 100% so check with support.
You cannot have a cancelled line on your plan in the last 90 days. This is the requirement to qualify for the rebate. This is to prevent people from cancelling current line and adding new line for a new device on a discount.
Got in touch with T-mobile force on Twitter and as per them as the offer is only valid for 4 max per account. You can return the 5th device and it will not create any issues for rebate.

Will not void. Done with my wife's costco acct and my tmobile one account. XR deal rebate approved.

Is the trade-in device has to be perfect or tiny crack on front glass will be fine or will they reject the trade-in?

One of the questions is if the screen is cracked.
You might get away with it but it's very risky.
If the Costco wireless rep checks it and DOESN'T see the crack, you are still not in the clear. Because you have to ship the phone to Assurant, and they inspect the phone again.
