2. How to Redeem Your Offer

2. Trade-in an eligible device.
3. Go to http://www.T-Mobile.com/Promotions within 30 days from date of device purchase.
4. Enter all required fields AND:

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

You need the trade-in phone IMEI at the time you do the deal. Doesn't need to be in hand. You mail it in within 30 days.
I've heard of people changing IMEI in flight but not sure that won't blow up.
