2. How to Redeem Your Offer

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Yes, to get this promo you must trade in an iphone 6s or newer. It must be in good condition with an undamaged display. It must be free of icloud lock but it can be locked to a carrier.
That said, it gets more complicated if you're buying a phone for someone else. Are you on T-Mobile? is she? Do you share an account? If not then this is perhaps going to be far more complicated than it is worth and you may wish to look for another way to get a deal.
