Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

Yeah, that's what we tried. The t-mobile agent said everything should be good, but he kept getting the same error on his computer and couldn't add it.
The t-mobile agent has to add it. That's the entire point of the phone call to them....

Can I change my T-Mobile plan to another eligible one (such as Essentials -> Magenta) within the 3 months? What happens if I change it to an ineligible plan?

Would blemishes on the screen (not cracks) possibly deny the trade-in?

Is tmobile not honoring rebates a possibility? For whatever reason, locked, condition etc..

plus upto $580 = gaurantee 580 for all 6s and above phone ?

And then he can attach the new Costco iPhone to that newly added line? It doesn't affect the rebate, even though it was added by Tmobile and not the costco rep?

Went to a Tampa ay area Costco to get the hang of this promo directly from the Wireless Reps.. The girl was clueless about the plans prices.. She didn't know about 55+ at $50 plan the guy knew but was extremely busy and didn't pay much attention to my Qs..

He said they only had the 64GB iphone 11 in stock either black or white but one thing that raised a Flag for me was that the girl said they DO NOT enter the IMEI of the traded phone ANYWHERE in the process.. WE have to go to the TMO Site and get that information in and mail the phone using a CODE!

Does that make any sense or is it you guys experience in the process??

I don't want to be denied the rebate because they didn't enter my trade in info on the TMO System.. leaving this up to me ..

More details on this would be appreciated as I don't have the iphone 6s at hand yet to proceed.. I just want to make sure these reps don't screw my rebate ( GC)

Also, they said that another PROMO for the iphones will probably follow this one.. maybe better as far as the rebate on TMO?

Oh, Also they said there's an activation fee because they sell the iphone 11 -64gb discounted by $50 compared to the apple store for example-- She pointed at $699 for the phone at Costco

SO my calculations on price after rebate and taxes and trade in would be: Initial price of the iphone 11 64 gb plus FLA Tax $749 --- $40 for the trade in 6s - two months of Magenta 55+--- $60 ( 100 but discounted w the tarde in) then the GCard--- $540 (580-40 credit for trade in 6s) My total for the phone and 2 months of Service would be $229 and I'm free to leave??
Did you ever get your phone? I'm in the same T Mo plan as you, and am contemplating getting the Pro. Thanks! (I don't trust those Costco phone reps!)

I canceled my line with T Mobile couple of months ago. Will this affect the account opening or the rebate in anyway. Just curious whether people have any past experiences in a similar situation

Usually need to wait 90 days after you cancel your line to qualify for new phone promotions. If it hasn't been 90 days then you'll have to reactivate that canceled line and then you'll be eligible for this promo.

So with this promo is it worth it to just open 1 new line/account (currently not a Tmobile subscriber) or better to do max of 4 lines? If I did just 1 line (iPhone 11) would the net cost be the following:

$685 ($630 +tax) + 210 (3 month of Magenta service) + $120 (cost of iphone 6s) - $580 = $435 after canceling line after 3 months. Is that accurate? After 3 months of service can the phone be unlocked by Tmobile or not?

Help. Currently have T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo at 2 lines for $100.

Can I add lines to this plan or do I have to change plan to Magenta?

If I can add lines, what should cost be for lines 3 and 4?

Thank you!
You can add 1 additional line with this plan, for me it's $40/month.
I could not get Kickback or One Plus Promo added to this line though.

i have a last year iphone xs max (with tmobile 750 credit promo) so still locked with tmobile and getting monthly credit... if i trade that in i get 580 on the 11 pro max? so essentially trading in iphone xs max gets the same amount as trading in iphone 6s

FML. It looks like the rep at Costco made a mistake putting the correct IMEI of the trade in phone. He forgot to insert the last digit of IMEI otherwise it looks complete. Will this cause any issue or should I go back to Costco tomorrow to have this rectified? TIA!

I came across same situation when my friend was taking the new line and we asked costco rep, he said last digit of imei was omitted by computer and its not important(its checksum)
