Does the $20 talk and text plan qualify for this deal? I remember the same deal from last year accepted the $20 talk and text only plan.

Visited my local Costco today and forgot to take my trade-in phone with me. My local Costco rep wanted to see the phone being traded in. I showed a screenshot of the About page on my phone and she okayed it. I got a 64gb red 11. Has this been everyone's experience? I wanted to buy more phones but I am yet to buy the iphone6s to be traded in.

People buying from backmarket, do they provide the IMEI number and what carrier it was originally bought from? The Costco rep had a hard time finding a way to enter that the phone was bought unlocked from Apple. Eventually, we put it in as ATT and finished the process.

The Costco dude told us that they don't have any iphone 11s even though I confirmed with a customer rep that the store have 9 stocks available. The dude also told us that they don't like people cancelling their new line after getting the rebate so they want to ship the phone instead to get the bill credits. This is what happens when people keep asking unnecessary stupid questions. tsk!
And the dude told us that will not get any stock until the 15th. That's after the promotion date. LOL. Is there a way to report this to corporate to get around with this?

When I gave the Costco rep my phone info I just had him select ATT as the carrier because I read here that it doesn't matter where it came from. Does the fact that it was actually a Total Wireless phone make a difference? The IMEI number and make/model/color were all correct though. I already sent it off to T-Mobile.

If you chatted with Costco to confirm stock/availability, I'd think that asking to speak to a manager at the warehouse would be a good next step, as that seems pretty shady on the Wireless Advocates employee if they're just making up stuff to tell you... or just waiting until someone else is working the kiosk.

I haven't been to Costco myself to check, but somebody a few pages back mentioned Costco only carries 64gb phones.
Costco carries black and white in 128gb. Just checked Seattle area, there's good availability of Black 128gb, but zero white 128gb nearby, so probably area-dependent

Anyone try to exchange an 11 purchased via this deal for an 11 pro? My store just received stock and I'm looking to upgrade. Curious if exchanging would invalidate the rebate. Initial purchase was a week ago. Thanks!

If you're going to return an opened phone anyways, do it close to the 90 day mark after you get the rebate card. I did this a few months ago after I realized that getting the XR was a big mistake. Returned it on day 75 after getting the rebase card, bought the got the XS at the same time to reduce shame. No issues.

Interesting. The rep said I had to return it within 14 days because I was doing the rebate. He said 90 days applied only if the device was defective.

anyone was able to open a new account who did the similar deal for xs max in may ?
i closed that account in Jul first week which is more than 90 days now, but they got a popup in the screen after running the credit check and there is no option for them to proceed.
associate told me that if i had an account in last 6 months, i need to contact tmobile.

Is this deal valid for existing customers who wish to just trade-in an iPhone (6s or above) and just get an iPhone 11 without adding a line? I called a couple of stores in SoCal and they said its not valid for existing customer who not wish to add a line. Did I just mis-read the offer?
🤦🏽 ♂️yes, you did not read.

from my experience today, it is not the reps who makes the 6 months policy, but the system is not allowing them to proceed with the application. they entered my details and submitted the credit application and they got a pop up which said previous account found something like that. so i was told that if u had an account in last 6 months, they cannot do it and i need to call tmob. my account was closed in July first week from the Apr-May deal for XS max.

bensonh0Some stores are claiming that you cannot have cancelled any lines in the past 6 months instead of 90 days. Can anyone verify this? The employee mentioned they changed this policy in August.

Quote from thund3rcat :
It's 90 days like everyone else, they can't make up their own separate terms not listed anywhere on the promo. They work for Wireless Advocates, not T-Mobile directly.

I did not get a copy of the promotion details. Is there something I can do to validate that I am signed up for the promo.
