2. How to Redeem Your Offer

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

I actually want to stay with T-Mobile, but I need to make sure it will work first. Very weak signal here, only AT&T really works as-is. I will need an amplifier, but could save $60 a month.

The best iPhone option I have seen so far is a $500 Best Buy trade-in for "qualified activations." On AT&T (and Sprint), starting 11/22.
Not a lot of details yet, but Best Buy has been giving the credit up front. It has also applied to upgrades, not just new lines.
Similar strategy to adding new T-Mobile? AT&T will unlock once paid in full.

My One 55+ plan qualified just fine last year (they allowed a 3rd line on some plans).
I am trying to get this deal, but will not have the exchange phone in time.
Tmobile gives 30 days to return, so i will be good, but not certain if Costco rep needs to enter exchange phone details in the system.
