You need to have two Venmo accounts. In my case, my wife has one account and I have one. Add the virtual card to my wife's account and send the money to me. When I receive the money, I can then transfer the money to my bank account. I think you can only send $250 max in one day so it will take 3 days to send over $500+
What about using Apple Cash? Is it possible?

Isn't PayPal another option?

I haven't tried PayPal. Maybe some type of fees with the PayPal option but I have tried Venmo and it is free. If PayPal is also free, it is another good option too!

Right but you have to use a new email I'm assuming, as when you try to use the same email it will say you already have an account.
No, the login was based on phone number instead of email, so I just used the new number to create a new login.

Okay. IF that was what he meant, I am cool. Thanks for your response though
Just how I read it. You certainly may have interpreted differently.

In the past we've seen the week-by-week promotion extensions not continue all the way to the end of the period on the rebate documentation. Speculation was that they'd reached some quota and chose not to keep it going.

So although we saw rebate docs claim 11/19 as the end of the period, it remained possible they might have decided to not continue past the 14th. As we see now, they did.

The smart option IMHO is always assume the most pessimistic of the published dates and plan according to that -- realizing that if you make a choice anticipating continuation it is possible it may not.

I opened four new lines yesterday. Mostly everything went smooth, but I've two questions:
  1. I opted for the Magenta plan, but I was told that my monthly bill will be $160, and not $140 as mentioned in the Wiki. At the time of purchase I wasn't sure where the $140 deal came from (I only knew it because it's mentioned in the Wiki) and I didn't see any mention of it anywhere in the Wireless Center, so I couldn't press harder. Upon reaching home, I found that this specific offer is in T-Mobile's official website. So I called back and asked why it wasn't offered to me. The CSR said she has no understanding of it and it could be automatically adjusted by T-Mobile.
  2. The CSR said in order to get auto pay credit, I need to use a debit card. Is that true? If it's not, can I switch my payment card to a credit card via T-mobile online account?

I'm going to call T-Mobile about my monthly charge, but I would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this before that.

Cheers!
I have the answer for your second question. I get the auto pay credit $5 per line and linked my CC and not the DC.

Please rep if this help.

Anyone tried the below from the Wiki page. Shall we submit a another promo for $25 Advantage reward card? does this void the $580 rebate?

Any one had previous experience please suggest. Will give reps.

6. Additional incentive/discount after you join T-Mobile
Advantage Program: You may qualify $25 Advantage Reward Card due to your employer thanks to T-Mobile Advantage Program (https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4791).
Matched employer discount: If your previous carrier offer employer discount, T-mobile may match that discount (https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/discount-program, bill of previous carrier is required). Unfortunately, my previous carrier is H2O who does not give employer discount.
Business Family Discount (BFD): If you happen to have a business line paid by your empolyer, you may qualify more generous business family discount (https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21923).

Thank you, looks like I need to change my payment card (hopefully that's possible to do).

If I just sign up 3 lines a week ago, am I allowed to add more lines on the same account for more rebate? Costco sales person told me that I can't add more lines within 30days(I don't know why), and I can't cancel the lines within 6mons (poster said 3mons), if I cancel the lines within 6mons, sales man told me that I have to payback the gift card 🤣, can someone confirm if I'm getting correct info?

did that rep just randomly tell you about that rule or did you go and start asking questions about cancelling?
I just asked if there was a minimum we needed to keep it open and he said 6 months. I said I didn't hear or see that anywhere and he said if we weren't planning to keep at least 6 months he wouldn't do the promotion for us since he wouldn't get commission.....Confused

Yes. Once you have your rebate you're clear.

Thanks, that's what I'd thought from reading a lot of the posts but the guy kept insisting we had to keep open at least 6 months and that he wouldn't do the promo if we weren't going to keep 6 months.....

That won't help anyone in any way.
