Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.
How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.

I believe they did this one time when tmobile had an offer for the XR and they did NOT accept a regular iPhone 6...costco accepted an iPhone 6 (yes, a regular 6, no s) as a trade in.
I went to the store yesterday to return and the rep at the kiosk said they could not accept returns after 14 days, that they could only do exchanges. I argued with her quite a bit but she kept insisting that she couldn't do anything and that the system would not even allow her to process a return. I'm pretty sure this was the same rep that sold me the phone, so my guess is she doesn't want to lose out on her commission.
I see that there has been a lot of talk about returning phones in this thread. Has anyone had any trouble? Is there any way I can escalate this? She would only give me the kiosk phone number, which I'm sure just goes directly to her. How do I make them follow their own policy and the legal contract that I signed if they just keep stonewalling me?
Note that I did not do any promotion when purchasing this phone because I thought there was a good chance I would return it. I'm not trying to get a free rebate card out of this.

Seems very interesting. That could be the reason costco just quickly ending this deal today. I would hold if I were to buy today until Friday. Mostly Costco will have the same offer as t-mobile.

If you simply wanted to 'test' the phone, you should have just bought it at apple.
they are probably just lazy but it's a bit weird that they didn't even scan it.
Wait, so you didn't even go in a usps location and drop it off in the inside bin?
I have been seeing on the news lately that people steal packages from the usps boxes that are Outside.
Good luck.
Even so, say they lose your iPhone 6s that you paid $150 for at Best Buy, they will not give you $580 (value of the rebate)
Has anyone discarded the COSTCO provided shipping label and gotten their own shipping? (if USPS won't let me add insurance to the prepaid label).
The trade-in requirements is high.......
So it's not on their printed list, and they may not even be aware they arrived.
