Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.

Mailed in trade in device within 30 days, usps say package contain lithium battery and will have to arrive through ground which will take 2-3 weeks to arrive assurant. Does trade in iPhone 6s has to arrive within 30 days or mailed in for rebate to work?

New account with 2 new lines opened 11-2 and rebate for those submitted 11-6. Two additional lines opened 11-6 and rebates for those submitted 11-7. All trade in devices dropped off at USPS on 11-8. All delivered on 11-11. Two trade-in credits of $31 each have been credited as of today to my account--both for the newer lines whose rebates I submitted 11-7. I did receive an e-mail each alerting me of the trade in credits being issued. The rebates submitted 11-6 have not yet been credited/no updates from Tmobile pertaining to those.
All of them were approved and I was able to access 3/4 of the online gift cards via text message. Not sure why I didn't get the text for 1/4. I was able to access all 4 via tmobile.com/promotions - check status - redeem and am currently trying to deposit them into my bank.

So, I bought 4 phones on 11/20
Submitted all rebates on 11/23
On 11/29, I got first credit for phone
On 12/3, called them and got credit for the remaining 3 (there was a price adjustment from $31 to $29)
2 of the rebate status show as "Pending" and 2 as "Received" - should I call them or something? Is there a logic to this?
Which number u called to adjust the remaining two trade in. I too got 2 approved and still need 2. Can u pass on the number to call?

So, I finally have my rebate in hand, the device credit is on my account. Thanks to all the extensive information written in the wiki that made it super easy to do this.

At this point, I'm trying to figure out the best way to cancel 2 of the lines I did with this promotion (out of 4). The account is under my wife's name and she really doesn't like calling and trying to cancel things, so I'd prefer to just port the numbers out to the ether (H2O or somewhere like that). Can anyone ELI5 the steps and process to port lines out? I looked around online and didn't find a good explanation of it.

Also, this is by far the fastest I've gotten my rebate from TMobile. Do people really think waiting 90 days to cancel is a good idea? I've seen that idea floating around, but no one can give a source for it. Usually it's like 90 days to get the rebate when it's all said and done so I've never worried about it. I certainly want Costco/Tmobile to continue providing credits via gift cards instead of bill credits, so I'm not one to rock the boat. I don't want to keep lines open though if they're not necessary.

1 of mine got messed up. The guy at costco kiosk missed 1 digit on the imei #. I did go back the other day to let him fix but he said no worry as long as the model match and did nothing. Now I got the other 1 aprroved but this still waiting after 1 month received.
