Very solid monitor but the lack of HDR is a huge let down. After experiencing HDR 1000 when gaming HOLY crap you can never go back. It was like the first time seeing the difference between 480p and 1080p...it's a MASSIVE difference. All you gamers really really deserve to experience gaming in HDR 1000 so please try to see if you can game on such a display before pulling the trigger on a non HDR model in 2019/2020. I'm shocked that it's almost 2020 and they released this with no HDR. However, if this is all you can afford, it's a very very solid monitor for this price.

I mean.. hdr has alwyas been a letdown. Hdr 400 or hdr 600 has no difference. I never seen HDR 1000, but from what you are saying im definately missing out. HDR has been nowhere the promise it was, so hdr is really a nonfactor for me. Then again i never gamed on hdr 1000 so i wouldnt know

Read the previous replies in this thread. Quite a few people asked the same question.

Would appreciate the same as I tried the coupon today that I received from Dell for signing up my email and it doesn't work.

Spoke to service rep, was told the coupon "does not apply to select monitors." Guess this one is a "select" monitor said coupon does not apply to. Garbage.

Also, the $949 deal doesn't seem to be a thing anymore - I keep seeing $999.

One of those deals that you had to have acted upon within the first 24 hours. 10% cash back and the coupon both died the next day. Better luck next time!

How did you get the 10% from the unknown site? It looks like it's only 2%
