This is the lowest price I've seen on a quality MIPS road helmet. Only in Matte/Gloss Silver Deco and medium size.

    Helmet expiration is a contentious subject. However, I've heard it's either 3-5 years (road.cc) or only when you've been in an accident (helmets.org). This is a great deal for a Mips certified helmet and in my opinion the manufacture date being 2018 shouldn't dissuade anyone from getting it if they like the style.

    been using my same helmet from walmart for a few months now, ive noticed some discolouration and fading , i ride in the the quite a bit, any info regurding the qulity of this one would be helpfull.

    Great price, but note that the deal is on a 2018 model. I'm pretty sure helmets are only supposed to be good for 2-3 years.

    Technically they're good until they hit the ground. That includes any drops from your hand, etc

    For those who don't know MIPS helps protect your head from the twisting damage. Whatever helmet you ultimately buy, ensure it has a MIPS rating.

    Actually you should replace your helmet every 2-3 years because that Styrofoam will degrade in time especially if you use it often.
